This one day course is aimed at developing your skills further as well as refining and refreshing your practice to increase your client base and get better treatment results.
Power reflexology is a new effective system in Reflexology that helps you focus your treatments precisely on the client’s key issue and use a range of powerful skills and techniques to help get better and faster results.
The focus of the day will be mainly on practical work. However, the theory will enhance this for example you will learn ways to make connections between your client’s disease, holistic factors and energy imbalances caused by physical or emotional stress. You will also learn how to apply this theory to what you are reading on the feet to help you understand the triggers and develop the best way of treating a client.
We will review your protocol so you will feel confident you are presenting the overall treatment in a highly professional manner.
New Techniques and preventing damage to your hands.
We will introduce you to new techniques to increase your pressure but prevent damage to your thumbs and hands. You can learn advanced techniques including how to use different digits of your hands during your treatment as well as the knuckles to stimulate for a more dramatic response to symptom patterns. This can be useful in treating a range of conditions including constipation, frozen shoulder, emotional traumas which a client finds hard to move on from and anovulatory syndrome.
You will learn how to use equilibrium ranking techniques to help balance neural pathways and the relationship between the functions and harmony of connected organs. You will be taught tapping techniques to help unblock body armour non-invasively which can help move a client on in their physical or emotional recovery process.
You will learn how to balance the chakras through the endocrine and nervous system and look for connections between a client’s ailments and the body’s energy blockages and use a range of techniques to help restore the free flowing energies through the body.
You will be taught linking and pulsating techniques and overall the day will help refine your treatments to a level that will give you more confidence and allow you to offer variety of skills.
Your reflexology practice will also be developed so you can use your skills and techniques to confidently treat a client in a short time frame if necessary. Alternatively you will have the skills to create an extended Power Reflexology treatment which just focusing on the presenting ailment key reflexes, system and chakras out of balance. Understandably if your treatments are purely focused on the key ailment and body energies you are more likely to have a better result and a change in symptom pattern sooner than later in your treatment plan.
Marketing Yourself
Apart from learning a range of effective techniques and building on your current skills to adapt the treatments for clients with a totally new method you can use Power reflexology to successfully build up your business in the corporate market.
Companies are interested in cost effective treatments and if you were to go into a business and spend your eight hours treating 13 - 14 clients it makes the treatments a worthwhile expense for them. For example you charge the company £450 the company would normally spend £700 for 14 treatments but by using Power reflexology during a thirty minute slot you have saved the company £250 per day. Corporate clients can hire your services from twice a week to once a month depending on their mission, size and needs of the company.
This course will help you understand how to increase your clients base and provide professional shorter treatments in the NHS, fetes, mother toddler groups, lunchtime treatments, public relations events and promotional taster treatments with confidence and clarity.
As part of the course you will be given an essential booklet which lists a variety of common conditions and key reflexes out of balance and how to treat these ailments within the systems of the body to help train you to focus your treatments. Your course handouts will also contain information on how to apply new skills, ways to develop specific treatments for your clients and information on body energies and what can disrupt their flow. You will be given protocols to follow to treat common ailments and shorter treatments.
This course is approved and recommended by the Association of Reflexologists and at the end of the day you will be awarded with a Diploma in; Power Reflexology Protocols and gain 14 CPD points
